Mike Orr, who daily witnesses with me at the University of Arizona campus, has a rare lung disease and carries oxygen at all times. Normally, he needs a lot of rest; but he said to Sister Cindy, “I am energized whenever Brother Jed comes to campus.” The Holy Spirit will do that, especially when we use His power for what it was primarily intended, to be His witnesses (Acts 1:8).
Mike had a great impact talking to students on the sidelines six hours a day. He asks the students, What do you think about this man? They say, “Bro. Jed?” Mike says, No, I want to know what you think about the man that he is talking about: Jesus. This leads to many fruitful conversations.
Mike was converted 30 years ago after hearing a campus preacher. What can you do for Christ?
Note: Bro Mike went on to Glory in Feb. 2013 and he took many souls with him. What about you, dear friend?
