A Prayer of David. O Lord, incline Your ear, and hearken to me; for I am poor and needy.

Preserve my soul, for I am holy; save Your servant, O God, who trusts in You.

Pity me, O Lord; for to You will I cry all the day.

Make glad the soul of Your servant; for to You, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.

For You, O Lord, are kind and gentle, and plenteous in mercy to all that call upon You.

Give ear to my prayer, O Lord; and attend to the voice of my supplication.

In the day of my trouble I cried to You; and You heard me.

There is none like You, O Lord, among the gods; and there are no [works] like Your works.
