Jesus answered, "I am telling you the truth: no one can see the Kingdom of God without being born again."

"I am telling you the truth," replied Jesus, "that no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.

So Jesus answered them, "I tell you the truth: the Son can do nothing on his own; he does only what he sees his Father doing. What the Father does, the Son also does.

"I am telling you the truth: those who hear my words and believe in him who sent me have eternal life. They will not be judged, but have already passed from death to life.

I am telling you the truth: the time is coming---the time has already come---when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear it will come to life.

Jesus answered, "I am telling you the truth: you are looking for me because you ate the bread and had all you wanted, not because you understood my miracles.

"I am telling you the truth," Jesus said. "What Moses gave you was not the bread from heaven; it is my Father who gives you the real bread from heaven.

I am telling you the truth: he who believes has eternal life.

Jesus said to them, "I am telling you the truth: if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you will not have life in yourselves.

Jesus said to them, "I am telling you the truth: everyone who sins is a slave of sin.

I am telling you the truth: whoever obeys my teaching will never die."

"I am telling you the truth," Jesus replied. "Before Abraham was born, 'I Am'."

Jesus said, "I am telling you the truth: the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a robber.

So Jesus said again, "I am telling you the truth: I am the gate for the sheep.

I am telling you the truth: a grain of wheat remains no more than a single grain unless it is dropped into the ground and dies. If it does die, then it produces many grains.

I am telling you the truth: no slaves are greater than their master, and no messengers are greater than the one who sent them.

I am telling you the truth: whoever receives anyone I send receives me also; and whoever receives me receives him who sent me."

After Jesus had said this, he was deeply troubled and declared openly, "I am telling you the truth: one of you is going to betray me."

Jesus answered, "Are you really ready to die for me? I am telling you the truth: before the rooster crows you will say three times that you do not know me.

I am telling you the truth: those who believe in me will do what I do---yes, they will do even greater things, because I am going to the Father.

I am telling you the truth: you will cry and weep, but the world will be glad; you will be sad, but your sadness will turn into gladness.

"When that day comes, you will not ask me for anything. I am telling you the truth: the Father will give you whatever you ask of him in my name.

I am telling you the truth: when you were young, you used to get ready and go anywhere you wanted to; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands and someone else will tie you up and take you where you don't want to go."

On the fifth day of the fourth month of the thirtieth year, I, Ezekiel the priest, son of Buzi, was living with the Jewish exiles by the Chebar River in Babylonia. The sky opened, and I saw a vision of God.

As soon as Jesus was baptized, he came up out of the water. Then heaven was opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God coming down like a dove and lighting on him.

As soon as Jesus came up out of the water, he saw heaven opening and the Spirit coming down on him like a dove.

After all the people had been baptized, Jesus also was baptized. While he was praying, heaven was opened,

"Look!" he said. "I see heaven opened and the Son of Man standing at the right side of God!"

He saw heaven opened and something coming down that looked like a large sheet being lowered by its four corners to the earth.

At this point I had another vision and saw an open door in heaven. And the voice that sounded like a trumpet, which I had heard speaking to me before, said, "Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after this."

Then I saw heaven open, and there was a white horse. Its rider is called Faithful and True; it is with justice that he judges and fights his battles.

He dreamed that he saw a stairway reaching from earth to heaven, with angels going up and coming down on it.

While I was looking, thrones were put in place. One who had been living forever sat down on one of the thrones. His clothes were white as snow, and his hair was like pure wool. His throne, mounted on fiery wheels, was blazing with fire,

and a stream of fire was pouring out from it. There were many thousands of people there to serve him, and millions of people stood before him. The court began its session, and the books were opened.

Then the Devil left Jesus; and angels came and helped him.

An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone over them. They were terribly afraid,

Suddenly a great army of heaven's angels appeared with the angel, singing praises to God:

An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.

They stood there puzzled about this, when suddenly two men in bright shining clothes stood by them.

They still had their eyes fixed on the sky as he went away, when two men dressed in white suddenly stood beside them

and said, "Galileans, why are you standing there looking up at the sky? This Jesus, who was taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way that you saw him go to heaven."

and he will give relief to you who suffer and to us as well. He will do this when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven with his mighty angels,

No one can deny how great is the secret of our religion: He appeared in human form, was shown to be right by the Spirit, and was seen by angels. He was preached among the nations, was believed in throughout the world, and was taken up to heaven.

What are the angels, then? They are spirits who serve God and are sent by him to help those who are to receive salvation.

It was Enoch, the seventh direct descendant from Adam, who long ago prophesied this about them: "The Lord will come with many thousands of his holy angels

And no one has ever gone up to heaven except the Son of Man, who came down from heaven."

As Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the desert, in the same way the Son of Man must be lifted up,

And he has given the Son the right to judge, because he is the Son of Man.

Jesus answered them, "The hour has now come for the Son of Man to receive great glory.

I am telling you the truth: a grain of wheat remains no more than a single grain unless it is dropped into the ground and dies. If it does die, then it produces many grains.

During this vision in the night, I saw what looked like a human being. He was approaching me, surrounded by clouds, and he went to the one who had been living forever and was presented to him.

He was given authority, honor, and royal power, so that the people of all nations, races, and languages would serve him. His authority would last forever, and his kingdom would never end.

The LORD Almighty says, "Wake up, sword, and attack the shepherd who works for me! Kill him, and the sheep will be scattered. I will attack my people

I will prove to you, then, that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins." So he said to the paralyzed man, "Get up, pick up your bed, and go home!"

Jesus went to the territory near the town of Caesarea Philippi, where he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?"

"What about you?" he asked them. "Who do you say I am?"

For the Son of Man is about to come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will reward each one according to his deeds.

I assure you that there are some here who will not die until they have seen the Son of Man come as King."

"When the Son of Man comes as King and all the angels with him, he will sit on his royal throne,

The Son of Man will die as the Scriptures say he will, but how terrible for that man who will betray the Son of Man! It would have been better for that man if he had never been born!"

"I am," answered Jesus, "and you will all see the Son of Man seated at the right side of the Almighty and coming with the clouds of heaven!"

But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right side of Almighty God."
