The road the righteous travel is like the sunrise, getting brighter and brighter until daylight has come.

The road of the wicked, however, is dark as night. They fall, but cannot see what they have stumbled over.

The righteous are like a light shining brightly; the wicked are like a lamp flickering out.

If you curse your parents, your life will end like a lamp that goes out in the dark.

"Be careful, then, how you listen; because those who have something will be given more, but whoever has nothing will have taken away from them even the little they think they have."

Now, God has offered us the promise that we may receive that rest he spoke about. Let us take care, then, that none of you will be found to have failed to receive that promised rest.
