When it happens, everyone will say, "He is our God! We have put our trust in him, and he has rescued us. He is the LORD! We have put our trust in him, and now we are happy and joyful because he has saved us."

We follow your will and put our hope in you; you are all that we desire.

And yet the LORD is waiting to be merciful to you. He is ready to take pity on you because he always does what is right. Happy are those who put their trust in the LORD.

You people who live in Jerusalem will not weep any more. The LORD is compassionate, and when you cry to him for help, he will answer you.

I know that I will live to see the LORD's goodness in this present life.

Trust in the LORD. Have faith, do not despair. Trust in the LORD.

I wait patiently for God to save me; I depend on him alone.

I depend on God alone; I put my hope in him.

Trust in God at all times, my people. Tell him all your troubles, for he is our refuge.

As a servant depends on his master, as a maid depends on her mistress, so we will keep looking to you, O LORD our God, until you have mercy on us.

But you forgive us, so that we should stand in awe of you.

I wait for the Lord more eagerly than sentries wait for the dawn--- than sentries wait for the dawn.

He will save his people Israel from all their sins.

The LORD is good to everyone who trusts in him,

So it is best for us to wait in patience---to wait for him to save us---

Return to the LORD, and let this prayer be your offering to him: "Forgive all our sins and accept our prayer, and we will praise you as we have promised.

The poor and the helpless have fled to you and have been safe in times of trouble. You give them shelter from storms and shade from the burning heat. Cruel enemies attack like a winter storm,

So Moses held out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the water returned to its normal level. The Egyptians tried to escape from the water, but the LORD threw them into the sea.

Defeat does not come to those who trust in you, but to those who are quick to rebel against you.

Remind me each morning of your constant love, for I put my trust in you. My prayers go up to you; show me the way I should go.

Fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise.

You punished your people, LORD, and in anguish they prayed to you.

The LORD saves the righteous and protects them in times of trouble.

God is our shelter and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.

God is in that city, and it will never be destroyed; at early dawn he will come to its aid.

Call to me when trouble comes; I will save you, and you will praise me."

Help us against the enemy; human help is worthless.

Give us now as much happiness as the sadness you gave us during all our years of misery.

When they call to me, I will answer them; when they are in trouble, I will be with them. I will rescue them and honor them.

You will all be disgraced---you that say that a tree is your father and that a rock is your mother. This will happen because you turned away from me instead of turning to me. But when you are in trouble, you ask me to come and save you.

"Where are the gods that you made for yourselves? When you are in trouble, let them save you---if they can! Judah, you have as many gods as you have cities.

You are Israel's only hope; you are the one who saves us from disaster. Why are you like a stranger in our land, like a traveler who stays for only one night?

Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the merciful Father, the God from whom all help comes!

He helps us in all our troubles, so that we are able to help others who have all kinds of troubles, using the same help that we ourselves have received from God.
