And so I, the Sovereign LORD, am telling you that I am your enemy. I will pass judgment on you where all the nations can see it.

Tell the mountains of Israel to hear the Sovereign LORD's word---to hear what I, the Sovereign LORD, am telling the mountains, the hills, the gorges, and the valleys: I will send a sword to destroy the places where people worship idols.

I am going to send a flood on the earth to destroy every living being. Everything on the earth will die,

then in my anger I will turn on you and again make your punishment seven times worse than before.

" 'I, and I alone, am God; no other god is real. I kill and I give life, I wound and I heal, and no one can oppose what I do.

I am the one who made the earth and created human beings to live there. By my power I stretched out the heavens; I control the sun, the moon, and the stars.

I am the one who spoke and called him; I led him out and gave him success.

The LORD says, "I am the one who strengthens you. Why should you fear mortals, who are no more enduring than grass?

I will attack the people of Israel and Judah like a lion. I myself will tear them to pieces and then leave them. When I drag them off, no one will be able to save them.

The LORD is my shepherd; I have everything I need.

He gives me new strength. He guides me in the right paths, as he has promised.

Listen to us, O Shepherd of Israel; hear us, leader of your flock. Seated on your throne above the winged creatures,

I wander about like a lost sheep; so come and look for me, your servant, because I have not neglected your laws.

The Sovereign LORD is coming to rule with power, bringing with him the people he has rescued.

He will take care of his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs together and carry them in his arms; he will gently lead their mothers.

The Sovereign LORD, who has brought his people Israel home from exile, has promised that he will bring still other people to join them.

I will gather the rest of my people from the countries where I have scattered them, and I will bring them back to their homeland. They will have many children and increase in number.

I will bring them from the north and gather them from the ends of the earth. The blind and the lame will come with them, pregnant women and those about to give birth. They will come back a great nation.

Jesus answered, "The knowledge about the secrets of the Kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.

For the person who has something will be given more, so that he will have more than enough; but the person who has nothing will have taken away from him even the little he has.

The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost."

There are other sheep which belong to me that are not in this sheep pen. I must bring them, too; they will listen to my voice, and they will become one flock with one shepherd.
