The crash of your thunder rolled out, and flashes of lightning lit up the world; the earth trembled and shook.

O LORD, tear the sky open and come down; touch the mountains, and they will pour out smoke.

Send flashes of lightning and scatter your enemies; shoot your arrows and send them running.

On the morning of the third day there was thunder and lightning, a thick cloud appeared on the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast was heard. All the people in the camp trembled with fear.

All of Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the LORD had come down on it in fire. The smoke went up like the smoke of a furnace, and all the people trembled violently.

He looks at the earth, and it trembles; he touches the mountains, and they pour out smoke.

Tremble, earth, at the Lord's coming, at the presence of the God of Jacob,

God sends earthquakes and shakes the ground; he rocks the pillars that support the earth.

But you, LORD, are the true God, you are the living God and the eternal king. When you are angry, the world trembles; the nations cannot endure your anger.

Jesus again gave a loud cry and breathed his last.

Then the curtain hanging in the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split apart,

Suddenly there was a violent earthquake; an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, rolled the stone away, and sat on it.

His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.

God's temple in heaven was opened, and the Covenant Box was seen there. Then there were flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.

Then I saw heaven open, and there was a white horse. Its rider is called Faithful and True; it is with justice that he judges and fights his battles.
