Speak and act as people who will be judged by the law that sets us free.

But if you look closely into the perfect law that sets people free, and keep on paying attention to it and do not simply listen and then forget it, but put it into practice---you will be blessed by God in what you do.

But you are the chosen race, the King's priests, the holy nation, God's own people, chosen to proclaim the wonderful acts of God, who called you out of darkness into his own marvelous light.

Do not take revenge on others or continue to hate them, but love your neighbors as you love yourself. I am the LORD.

Treat them as you would an Israelite, and love them as you love yourselves. Remember that you were once foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

The teacher of the Law answered, "The one who was kind to him." Jesus replied, "You go, then, and do the same."

Be under obligation to no one---the only obligation you have is to love one another. Whoever does this has obeyed the Law.

The commandments, "Do not commit adultery; do not commit murder; do not steal; do not desire what belongs to someone else"---all these, and any others besides, are summed up in the one command, "Love your neighbor as you love yourself."

For the whole Law is summed up in one commandment: "Love your neighbor as you love yourself."

Help carry one another's burdens, and in this way you will obey the law of Christ.

There is no need to write you about love for each other. You yourselves have been taught by God how you should love one another.

Do you believe that there is only one God? Good! The demons also believe---and tremble with fear.
