God said, "I am who I am. You must tell them: 'The one who is called I AM has sent me to you.'

You are the source of all life, and because of your light we see the light.

Before you created the hills or brought the world into being, you were eternally God, and will be God forever.

But you, LORD, are the true God, you are the living God and the eternal king. When you are angry, the world trembles; the nations cannot endure your anger.

Nor does he need anything that we can supply by working for him, since it is he himself who gives life and breath and everything else to everyone.

To the eternal King, immortal and invisible, the only God---to him be honor and glory forever and ever! Amen.

He alone is immortal; he lives in the light that no one can approach. No one has ever seen him; no one can ever see him. To him be honor and eternal power! Amen.

The Word was the source of life, and this life brought light to people.

Jesus answered, "If you only knew what God gives and who it is that is asking you for a drink, you would ask him, and he would give you life-giving water."

On the last and most important day of the festival Jesus stood up and said in a loud voice, "Whoever is thirsty should come to me, and

whoever believes in me should drink. As the scripture says, 'Streams of life-giving water will pour out from his side.' "

I am telling you the truth: whoever obeys my teaching will never die."

and those who live and believe in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

Jesus answered him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one goes to the Father except by me.

In a little while the world will see me no more, but you will see me; and because I live, you also will live.

For you gave him authority over all people, so that he might give eternal life to all those you gave him.

And eternal life means to know you, the only true God, and to know Jesus Christ, whom you sent.

For the scripture says, "The first man, Adam, was created a living being"; but the last Adam is the life-giving Spirit.

For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Your real life is Christ and when he appears, then you too will appear with him and share his glory!

We write to you about the Word of life, which has existed from the very beginning. We have heard it, and we have seen it with our eyes; yes, we have seen it, and our hands have touched it.

What we have seen and heard we announce to you also, so that you will join with us in the fellowship that we have with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

because the Lamb, who is in the center of the throne, will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of life-giving water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

And he said, "It is done! I am the first and the last, the beginning and the end. To anyone who is thirsty I will give the right to drink from the spring of the water of life without paying for it.

The angel also showed me the river of the water of life, sparkling like crystal, and coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb

The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come!" Everyone who hears this must also say, "Come!" Come, whoever is thirsty; accept the water of life as a gift, whoever wants it.
