Then he sent them out to preach the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick,

Heal the sick, bring the dead back to life, heal those who suffer from dreaded skin diseases, and drive out demons. You have received without paying, so give without being paid.

They drove out many demons, and rubbed olive oil on many sick people and healed them.

Not far from that place were some fields that belonged to Publius, the chief of the island. He welcomed us kindly and for three days we were his guests.

When this happened, all the other sick people on the island came and were healed.

'Even the dust from your town that sticks to our feet we wipe off against you. But remember that the Kingdom of God has come near you!'

Some Pharisees asked Jesus when the Kingdom of God would come. His answer was, "The Kingdom of God does not come in such a way as to be seen.

No one will say, 'Look, here it is!' or, 'There it is!'; because the Kingdom of God is within you."

At the time of those rulers the God of heaven will establish a kingdom that will never end. It will never be conquered, but will completely destroy all those empires and then last forever.

"Turn away from your sins," he said, "because the Kingdom of heaven is near!"

From that time Jesus began to preach his message: "Turn away from your sins, because the Kingdom of heaven is near!"

Go and preach, 'The Kingdom of heaven is near!'

"What shall we say the Kingdom of God is like?" asked Jesus. "What parable shall we use to explain it?

Jesus answered, "I am telling you the truth: no one can see the Kingdom of God without being born again."

"I am telling you the truth," replied Jesus, "that no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.

And Paul concluded: "You are to know, then, that God's message of salvation has been sent to the Gentiles. They will listen!"

He preached about the Kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ, speaking with all boldness and freedom.
