I will make you and the woman hate each other; her offspring and yours will always be enemies. Her offspring will crush your head, and you will bite her offspring's heel."

You will trample down lions and snakes, fierce lions and poisonous snakes.

Listen! I have given you authority, so that you can walk on snakes and scorpions and overcome all the power of the Enemy, and nothing will hurt you.

Paul gathered up a bundle of sticks and was putting them on the fire when a snake came out on account of the heat and fastened itself to his hand.

But Peter said to him, "I have no money at all, but I give you what I have: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I order you to get up and walk!"

he jumped up, stood on his feet, and started walking around. Then he went into the Temple with them, walking and jumping and praising God.

then you should all know, and all the people of Israel should know, that this man stands here before you completely well through the power of the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth---whom you crucified and whom God raised from death.

The man on whom this miracle of healing had been performed was over forty years old.

Reach out your hand to heal, and grant that wonders and miracles may be performed through the name of your holy Servant Jesus."

As a result of what the apostles were doing, sick people were carried out into the streets and placed on beds and mats so that at least Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.

And crowds of people came in from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing those who were sick or who had evil spirits in them; and they were all healed.

So Ananias went, entered the house where Saul was, and placed his hands on him. "Brother Saul," he said, "the Lord has sent me---Jesus himself, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here. He sent me so that you might see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit."

At once something like fish scales fell from Saul's eyes, and he was able to see again. He stood up and was baptized;

"Aeneas," Peter said to him, "Jesus Christ makes you well. Get up and make your bed." At once Aeneas got up.

Peter put them all out of the room, and knelt down and prayed; then he turned to the body and said, "Tabitha, get up!" She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

The news about this spread all over Joppa, and many people believed in the Lord.

Even handkerchiefs and aprons he had used were taken to the sick, and their diseases were driven away, and the evil spirits would go out of them.

Publius' father was in bed, sick with fever and dysentery. Paul went into his room, prayed, placed his hands on him, and healed him.

When this happened, all the other sick people on the island came and were healed.

One and the same Spirit gives faith to one person, while to another person he gives the power to heal.

Are any among you sick? They should send for the church elders, who will pray for them and rub olive oil on them in the name of the Lord.

This prayer made in faith will heal the sick; the Lord will restore them to health, and the sins they have committed will be forgiven.
