And the Father, who sent me, also testifies on my behalf. You have never heard his voice or seen his face,

Father, bring glory to your name!" Then a voice spoke from heaven, "I have brought glory to it, and I will do so again."

But Jesus said to them, "It was not for my sake that this voice spoke, but for yours.

And I heard a voice from heaven that sounded like a roaring waterfall, like a loud peal of thunder. It sounded like the music made by musicians playing their harps.

"Here is my servant, whom I have chosen, the one I love, and with whom I am pleased. I will send my Spirit upon him, and he will announce my judgment to the nations.

While he was talking, a shining cloud came over them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my own dear Son, with whom I am pleased---listen to him!"

"I will announce," says the king, "what the LORD has declared. He said to me: 'You are my son; today I have become your father.

The LORD says, "Here is my servant, whom I strengthen--- the one I have chosen, with whom I am pleased. I have filled him with my Spirit, and he will bring justice to every nation.

The LORD is a God who is eager to save, so he exalted his laws and teachings, and he wanted his people to honor them.

And a voice came from heaven, "You are my own dear Son. I am pleased with you."

Then a cloud appeared and covered them with its shadow, and a voice came from the cloud, "This is my own dear Son---listen to him!"

and the Holy Spirit came down upon him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, "You are my own dear Son. I am pleased with you."

A voice said from the cloud, "This is my Son, whom I have chosen---listen to him!"

Let us praise God for his glorious grace, for the free gift he gave us in his dear Son!

He rescued us from the power of darkness and brought us safe into the kingdom of his dear Son,

We were there when he was given honor and glory by God the Father, when the voice came to him from the Supreme Glory, saying, "This is my own dear Son, with whom I am pleased!"
