Ride on in majesty to victory for the defense of truth and justice! Your strength will win you great victories!

The LORD, the Most High, is to be feared; he is a great king, ruling over all the world.

He gave us victory over the peoples; he made us rule over the nations.

Say to God, "How wonderful are the things you do! Your power is so great that your enemies bow down in fear before you.

There he broke the arrows of the enemy, their shields and swords, yes, all their weapons.

Their brave soldiers have been stripped of all they had and now are sleeping the sleep of death; all their strength and skill was useless.

But you, LORD, are feared by all. No one can stand in your presence when you are angry.

when you rose up to pronounce judgment, to save all the oppressed on earth.

Has any god ever dared to go and take a people from another nation and make them his own, as the LORD your God did for you in Egypt? Before your very eyes he used his great power and strength; he brought plagues and war, worked miracles and wonders, and caused terrifying things to happen.

Praise him---he is your God, and you have seen with your own eyes the great and astounding things that he has done for you.

An angel of the LORD went to the Assyrian camp and killed 185,000 soldiers. At dawn the next day there they lay, all dead!

The LORD is righteous in all he does, merciful in all his acts.

But you have a hard and stubborn heart, and so you are making your own punishment even greater on the Day when God's anger and righteous judgments will be revealed.

and singing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb: "Lord God Almighty, how great and wonderful are your deeds! King of the nations, how right and true are your ways!

Who will not stand in awe of you, Lord? Who will refuse to declare your greatness? You alone are holy. All the nations will come and worship you, because your just actions are seen by all."

I heard the angel in charge of the waters say, "The judgments you have made are just, O Holy One, you who are and who were!

After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a large crowd of people in heaven, saying, "Praise God! Salvation, glory, and power belong to our God!

Again they shouted, "Praise God! The smoke from the flames that consume the great city goes up forever and ever!"

Praise the Lord, who carries our burdens day after day; he is the God who saves us.

Our God is a God who saves; he is the LORD, our Lord, who rescues us from death.

"Turn to me now and be saved, people all over the world! I am the only God there is.

Go, then, to all peoples everywhere and make them my disciples: baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,

and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And I will be with you always, to the end of the age."

Again it says, "Rejoice, Gentiles, with God's people!"

And again, Isaiah says, "A descendant of Jesse will appear; he will come to rule the Gentiles, and they will put their hope in him."

All nations will remember the LORD. From every part of the world they will turn to him; all races will worship him.

I will come quickly and save them; the time of my victory is near. I myself will rule over the nations. Distant lands wait for me to come; they wait with hope for me to save them.

You will see this and be filled with joy; You will tremble with excitement. The wealth of the nations will be brought to you; From across the sea their riches will come.

and will know that I am the one who punishes them. "But I will spare some of them and send them to the nations and the distant lands that have not heard of my fame or seen my greatness and power: to Spain, Libya, and Lydia, with its skilled archers, and to Tubal and Greece. Among these nations they will proclaim my greatness.

The LORD will terrify them. He will reduce the gods of the earth to nothing, and then every nation will worship him, each in its own land.

The LORD says, "I will remove the war chariots from Israel and take the horses from Jerusalem; the bows used in battle will be destroyed. Your king will make peace among the nations; he will rule from sea to sea, from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth."

So Christ came and preached the Good News of peace to all---to you Gentiles, who were far away from God, and to the Jews, who were near to him.

It is through Christ that all of us, Jews and Gentiles, are able to come in the one Spirit into the presence of the Father.
