The following Levites gave a call to worship: Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah. They said: "Stand up and praise the LORD your God; praise him forever and ever! Let everyone praise his glorious name, although no human praise is great enough."

Then they rose and stood in their places, and the following Levites explained the Law to them: Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, and Pelaiah.

Levites: Jeshua son of Azaniah, Binnui of the clan of Henadad, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Hodiah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan, Mica, Rehob, Hashabiah, Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah, Hodiah, Bani, and Beninu.

Levites: The following were in charge of the singing of hymns of thanksgiving: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah.

The members of the Levite clans of Kohath and Korah stood up and with a loud shout praised the LORD, the God of Israel.

I call to the LORD for help, and from his sacred hill he answers me.

I cry aloud to God; I cry aloud, and he hears me.

From the depths of my despair I call to you, LORD.

I cry aloud for help, but God refuses to listen;

After he had said this, he called out in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!"

He knelt down and cried out in a loud voice, "Lord! Do not remember this sin against them!" He said this and died.
