Jehovah is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup; You shall uphold my lot.

For who in the clouds can be compared to Jehovah? Who among the sons of the gods can be likened unto Jehovah?

Though the fig tree shall not blossom, and fruit is not on the vines; the work of the olive fails, and the fields yield no food; the flock is cut off from the fold, and no herd is in the stalls,

yet I will exult in Jehovah; I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.

He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
