I passed on to you what I received, which is of the greatest importance: that Christ died for our sins, as written in the Scriptures;

"I have taught you all the laws, as the LORD my God told me to do. Obey them in the land that you are about to invade and occupy.

and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And I will be with you always, to the end of the age."

From Paul, whose call to be an apostle did not come from human beings or by human means, but from Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from death.

Let me tell you, my friends, that the gospel I preach is not of human origin.

I did not receive it from any human being, nor did anyone teach it to me. It was Jesus Christ himself who revealed it to me.

On Saturday evening we gathered together for the fellowship meal. Paul spoke to the people and kept on speaking until midnight, since he was going to leave the next day.
