"When I go, you will not be left all alone; I will come back to you.

When that day comes, you will know that I am in my Father and that you are in me, just as I am in you.

Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, "Lord, how can it be that you will reveal yourself to us and not to the world?"

Whoever wants to serve me must follow me, so that my servant will be with me where I am. And my Father will honor anyone who serves me.

"Father! You have given them to me, and I want them to be with me where I am, so that they may see my glory, the glory you gave me; for you loved me before the world was made.

and the people of all the nations will be gathered before him. Then he will divide them into two groups, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

Then the King will say to the people on his right, 'Come, you that are blessed by my Father! Come and possess the kingdom which has been prepared for you ever since the creation of the world.

and said, "Galileans, why are you standing there looking up at the sky? This Jesus, who was taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way that you saw him go to heaven."

They kept on stoning Stephen as he called out to the Lord, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!"

He knelt down and cried out in a loud voice, "Lord! Do not remember this sin against them!" He said this and died.

Since we are his children, we will possess the blessings he keeps for his people, and we will also possess with Christ what God has kept for him; for if we share Christ's suffering, we will also share his glory.

So we are always full of courage. We know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord's home.

We are full of courage and would much prefer to leave our home in the body and be at home with the Lord.

I am pulled in two directions. I want very much to leave this life and be with Christ, which is a far better thing;

There will be the shout of command, the archangel's voice, the sound of God's trumpet, and the Lord himself will come down from heaven. Those who have died believing in Christ will rise to life first;

then we who are living at that time will be gathered up along with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.

In this way the name of our Lord Jesus will receive glory from you, and you from him, by the grace of our God and of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to be with him: I beg you, my friends,

If we continue to endure, we shall also rule with him. If we deny him, he also will deny us.

In the same manner Christ also was offered in sacrifice once to take away the sins of many. He will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are waiting for him.

My dear friends, we are now God's children, but it is not yet clear what we shall become. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he really is.

Everyone who has this hope in Christ keeps himself pure, just as Christ is pure.

To those who win the victory I will give the right to sit beside me on my throne, just as I have been victorious and now sit by my Father on his throne.

I did not see a temple in the city, because its temple is the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb.

The city has no need of the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God shines on it, and the Lamb is its lamp.

Nothing that is under God's curse will be found in the city. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will worship him.

There shall be no more night, and they will not need lamps or sunlight, because the Lord God will be their light, and they will rule as kings forever and ever.
