Jesus said, "I am telling you the truth: the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a robber.

I am the gate. Those who come in by me will be saved; they will come in and go out and find pasture.

Jesus answered him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one goes to the Father except by me.

It is through Christ that all of us, Jews and Gentiles, are able to come in the one Spirit into the presence of the Father.

We have, then, my friends, complete freedom to go into the Most Holy Place by means of the death of Jesus.

We have a great priest in charge of the house of God.

Then we, your people, the sheep of your flock, will thank you forever and praise you for all time to come.

He is our God; we are the people he cares for, the flock for which he provides. Listen today to what he says:

Acknowledge that the LORD is God. He made us, and we belong to him; we are his people, we are his flock.

All of us were like sheep that were lost, each of us going his own way. But the LORD made the punishment fall on him, the punishment all of us deserved.

"You, my sheep, the flock that I feed, are my people, and I am your God," says the Sovereign LORD.

"Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them---what do you do? You leave the other ninety-nine sheep in the pasture and go looking for the one that got lost until you find it.

and carry it back home. Then you call your friends and neighbors together and say to them, 'I am so happy I found my lost sheep. Let us celebrate!'
