the Son of Man will send out his angels to gather up out of his Kingdom all those who cause people to sin and all others who do evil things,

It will be like this at the end of the age: the angels will go out and gather up the evil people from among the good

The great trumpet will sound, and he will send out his angels to the four corners of the earth, and they will gather his chosen people from one end of the world to the other.

The poor man died and was carried by the angels to sit beside Abraham at the feast in heaven. The rich man died and was buried,

After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds so that no wind should blow on the earth or the sea or against any tree.

The angel said, "Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees, until we mark the servants of our God with a seal on their foreheads."

The seven angels who had the seven plagues came out of the temple, dressed in clean shining linen and with gold bands tied around their chests.

Then one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven gold bowls full of the anger of God, who lives forever and ever.

Judah will hold the royal scepter, And his descendants will always rule. Nations will bring him tribute And bow in obedience before him.

"When the Son of Man comes as King and all the angels with him, he will sit on his royal throne,

and the people of all the nations will be gathered before him. Then he will divide them into two groups, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

There are other sheep which belong to me that are not in this sheep pen. I must bring them, too; they will listen to my voice, and they will become one flock with one shepherd.

and not only for them, but also to bring together into one body all the scattered people of God.

We believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will take back with Jesus those who have died believing in him.

There will be the shout of command, the archangel's voice, the sound of God's trumpet, and the Lord himself will come down from heaven. Those who have died believing in Christ will rise to life first;

Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to be with him: I beg you, my friends,

twelve thousand from each tribe: Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjamin.

After this I looked, and there was an enormous crowd---no one could count all the people! They were from every race, tribe, nation, and language, and they stood in front of the throne and of the Lamb, dressed in white robes and holding palm branches in their hands.

But the Lord has reduced the number of those days; if he had not, nobody would survive. For the sake of his chosen people, however, he has reduced those days.

For false Messiahs and false prophets will appear. They will perform miracles and wonders in order to deceive even God's chosen people, if possible.

I will bless the Israelites who belong to the tribe of Judah, and their descendants will possess my land of mountains. My chosen people, who serve me, will live there.

Now, will God not judge in favor of his own people who cry to him day and night for help? Will he be slow to help them?

Who will accuse God's chosen people? God himself declares them not guilty!

You are the people of God; he loved you and chose you for his own. So then, you must clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

and so I endure everything for the sake of God's chosen people, in order that they too may obtain the salvation that comes through Christ Jesus and brings eternal glory.

You were chosen according to the purpose of God the Father and were made a holy people by his Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be purified by his blood. May grace and peace be yours in full measure.

Even if you are scattered to the farthest corners of the earth, the LORD your God will gather you together and bring you back,

On the Judgment Day the Queen of Sheba will stand up and accuse you, because she traveled all the way from her country to listen to King Solomon's wise teaching; and I assure you that there is something here greater than Solomon!
