He will speak against the Supreme God and oppress God's people. He will try to change their religious laws and festivals, and God's people will be under his power for three and a half years.

The angel raised both hands toward the sky and made a solemn promise in the name of the Eternal God. I heard him say, "It will be three and a half years. When the persecution of God's people ends, all these things will have happened."

"From the time the daily sacrifices are stopped, that is, from the time of The Awful Horror, 1,290 days will pass.

But do not measure the outer courts, because they have been given to the heathen, who will trample on the Holy City for forty-two months.

I will send my two witnesses dressed in sackcloth, and they will proclaim God's message during those 1, 260 days."

She was given the two wings of a large eagle in order to fly to her place in the desert, where she will be taken care of for three and a half years, safe from the dragon's attack.

The beast was allowed to make proud claims which were insulting to God, and it was permitted to have authority for forty-two months.

This vision about the evening and morning sacrifices which has been explained to you will come true. But keep it secret now, because it will be a long time before it does come true."

and he named the light "Day" and the darkness "Night." Evening passed and morning came---that was the first day.

Because the LORD is righteous, he will save Jerusalem and everyone there who repents.

And this is how all Israel will be saved. As the scripture says, "The Savior will come from Zion and remove all wickedness from the descendants of Jacob.

I will make this covenant with them when I take away their sins."

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The power to rule over the world belongs now to our Lord and his Messiah, and he will rule forever and ever!"

I, the LORD, will rescue all the descendants of Jacob, and they will give me praise.

The scripture predicted that God would put the Gentiles right with himself through faith. And so the scripture announced the Good News to Abraham: "Through you God will bless all people."
