"Get a scroll and write on it everything that I have told you about Israel and Judah and all the nations. Write everything that I have told you from the time I first spoke to you, when Josiah was king, up to the present.

So I called Baruch son of Neriah and dictated to him everything that the LORD had said to me. And Baruch wrote it all down on a scroll.

I wrote in a book an account of all the destruction that would come on Babylonia, as well as all these other things about Babylonia.

Then pray, ' LORD, you have said that you would destroy this place, so that there would be no living creatures in it, neither people nor animals, and it would be like a desert forever.'

and say, 'This is what will happen to Babylonia---it will sink and never rise again because of the destruction that the LORD is going to bring on it.' " The words of Jeremiah end here.

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Write an account of this victory, so that it will be remembered. Tell Joshua that I will completely destroy the Amalekites."

"Now, write down this song. Teach it to the people of Israel, so that it will stand as evidence against them.

That same day Moses wrote down the song and taught it to the people of Israel.

Moses wrote God's Law in a book, taking care not to leave out anything.

"Take this book of God's Law and place it beside the Covenant Box of the LORD your God, so that it will remain there as a witness against his people.

How I wish that someone would remember my words and record them in a book!

Or with a chisel carve my words in stone and write them so that they would last forever.

The LORD said to me, "Take a large piece of writing material and write on it in large letters: 'Quick Loot, Fast Plunder.'

God told me to write down in a book what the people are like, so that there would be a permanent record of how evil they are.

He said to me, "And now, Daniel, close the book and put a seal on it until the end of the world. Meanwhile, many people will waste their efforts trying to understand what is happening."

The LORD gave me this answer: "Write down clearly on tablets what I reveal to you, so that it can be read at a glance.

Put it in writing, because it is not yet time for it to come true. But the time is coming quickly, and what I show you will come true. It may seem slow in coming, but wait for it; it will certainly take place, and it will not be delayed.

Everything written in the Scriptures was written to teach us, in order that we might have hope through the patience and encouragement which the Scriptures give us.

All these things happened to them as examples for others, and they were written down as a warning for us. For we live at a time when the end is about to come.

For no prophetic message ever came just from the human will, but people were under the control of the Holy Spirit as they spoke the message that came from God.

It said, "Write down what you see, and send the book to the churches in these seven cities: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea."

Write, then, the things you see, both the things that are now and the things that will happen afterward.
