What hope is there for the godless in the hour when God demands their life?

When trouble comes, will God hear their cries?

The LORD is pleased when good people pray, but hates the sacrifices that the wicked bring him.

When good people pray, the LORD listens, but he ignores those who are evil.

If you refuse to listen to the cry of the poor, your own cry for help will not be heard.

If you do not obey the law, God will find your prayers too hateful to hear.

"When you lift your hands in prayer, I will not look at you. No matter how much you pray, I will not listen, for your hands are covered with blood.

We know that God does not listen to sinners; he does listen to people who respect him and do what he wants them to do.

And when you ask, you do not receive it, because your motives are bad; you ask for things to use for your own pleasures.
