Start the music and beat the tambourines; play pleasant music on the harps and the lyres.

Blow the trumpet for the festival, when the moon is new and when the moon is full.

Sing praises to the LORD! Play music on the harps!

Blow trumpets and horns, and shout for joy to the LORD, our king.

Also on joyful occasions---at your New Moon Festivals and your other religious festivals---you are to blow the trumpets when you present your burnt offerings and your fellowship offerings. Then I will help you. I am the LORD your God."

So all the Israelites accompanied the Covenant Box up to Jerusalem with shouts of joy, the sound of trumpets, horns, and cymbals, and the music of harps.

Heman and Jeduthun also had charge of the trumpets and cymbals and the other instruments which were played when the songs of praise were sung. The members of Jeduthun's clan were in charge of guarding the gates.

You will hear the sound of the trumpets, followed by the playing of oboes, lyres, zithers, and harps; and then all the other instruments will join in. As soon as the music starts, you are to bow down and worship the gold statue that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up.

Give thanks to the LORD with harps, sing to him with stringed instruments.
