After this, Abram had a vision and heard the LORD say to him, "Do not be afraid, Abram. I will shield you from danger and give you a great reward."

Elijah answered, "By the living LORD Almighty, whom I serve, I promise that I will present myself to the king today."

The LORD is my light and my salvation; I will fear no one. The LORD protects me from all danger; I will never be afraid.
