And the sons of Joseph who were born to him in Egypt were two souls. All the souls of the house of Jacob who went into Egypt were seventy.

All those who came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls (for Joseph was in Egypt already).

Then Joseph sent and called his father Jacob and all his relatives to him, seventy- five souls.

Jehovah your God has multiplied you, and here you are today, as the stars of the heavens in multitude.

You shall be left few in number, whereas you were as the stars of heaven in multitude, because you would not obey the voice of Jehovah your God.

And He brought him outside and said, Look now toward the heavens, and count the stars if you are able to number them. And He said unto him, So shall your seed be.

These are the numbered ones of the children of Israel: six hundred and one thousand seven hundred and thirty.

And those who were numbered of them were twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old and above; for they were not numbered among the other sons of Israel, because there was no inheritance given to them among the sons of Israel.

You also multiplied their children as the stars of the heavens, and brought them into the land which You had commanded their fathers to go in and possess it.

Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude; innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.
