I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Now I say this, that each of you says, I am of Paul, and I of Apollos, and I of Cephas, and I of Christ.

But this I say, brethren, the time has been shortened, so that even those who have wives should be as though they had none,

What am I saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered to idols is anything?

But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the emptiness of their mind,

Now this I say that no one should delude you with persuasive words.

On that day Jehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying: To your seed I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates;

And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your seed after you in their generations, for a perpetual covenant, to be God unto you and unto your seed after you.

Also I have given unto you and your seed after you the land in which you sojourn, all the land of Canaan, as an enduring possession; and I will be their God.

And God said: Truly, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; I have established My covenant with him for a perpetual covenant, with his seed after him.

Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited and redeemed His people,

as He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets since the world began,

to perform mercy with our fathers and to remember His holy covenant,

To grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear,

And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare His ways,

through the tender mercy of our God, with which the Dayspring from on high has visited us;

For the Law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.

Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Before Abraham came to be, I AM.

whom God set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, to give evidence of His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,

For as many promises as are of God, in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God through us.

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were foreigners and pilgrims on the earth.

By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,

reckoning that God had the power to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

searching for what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand of the sufferings of Christ and the glories after these things.

To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from Heaven; things which angels desire to look into.

He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you

And He said to Abram: Consider to know that your seed shall be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years.

Now the time the children of Israel who dwelt in Egypt remained there was four hundred and thirty years.

And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, on the same day it came to pass, that all the armies of Jehovah went out from the land of Egypt.

But God spoke in this way: that his seed would dwell in a foreign land, and that they would bring them into bondage and oppress them four hundred years.

Brethren, I speak in the manner of men: Though it is only a man's covenant, yet if it is confirmed, no one annuls or adds to it.

Would you indeed annul My judgment? Would you condemn Me so that you may be justified?

For Jehovah of Hosts has purposed, and who shall annul it? And His hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

And your covenant with death shall be covered over, and your agreement with Sheol shall not stand; when the overwhelming scourge shall pass through, then you shall be trampled down by it.

For there is indeed an annulling of the former commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness.

Is the Law then against the promises of God? Let it not be. For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been out of the Law.

The Mighty God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should be sorry. Has He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.

For if those who are of the Law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise has been annulled,

For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He had no one greater to swear by, He swore by Himself,

And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, pledged it by an oath,

You have become cut off from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by Law; you have fallen from grace.

But if her husband disallows her on the day that he hears it, he has made void her vow which she uttered with her lips, with which she bound her soul; and Jehovah will forgive her.

Jehovah brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He restrains and frustrates the devices of the people.

For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God?

For Christ did not send me to immerse, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.
