My circle of friends have abhorred me, and those whom I have loved have turned against me.

Even the man of peace in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.

Put no faith in a companion; put no trust in a friend; keep the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your bosom;

for the son dishonors the father; the daughter rises up against her mother; the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.

And as they were eating, He said, Truly, I say to you, One of you will betray Me.

He answered and said, He who dips his hand with Me in the dish will betray Me.

Now as they sat and ate, Jesus said, Truly, I say to you, one of you who eats with Me will betray Me.

I do not speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, He who eats bread with Me has lifted up his heel against Me.

Now I tell you before it happens, that when it does come to pass, you may believe that I AM.

When Jesus had said these things, He was troubled in spirit, and testified and said, Truly, truly, I say to you that one of you will betray Me.

Jesus answered, It is he to whom I shall give a morsel when I have dipped it. And having dipped the morsel, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
