And the report of this went out into all that land.

But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country.

At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus,

Thus Jehovah was with Joshua, and his fame spread throughout all the land.

For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was in all the surrounding nations.

Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of Jehovah, she came to test him with hard questions.

And David's fame went out into all the lands, for Jehovah had put the dread of him upon all the nations.

And immediately His fame spread throughout all the region around Galilee.

And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region.

However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.

And David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus; and the Syrians became David's servants, and brought tribute. And Jehovah gave victory to David wherever he went.

This census first took place while Cyrenius was governing Syria.

And he went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.

And Jesus went around all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every infirmity among the people.

And when Jesus had come into Peter's house, He saw his wife's mother lying sick with a fever.

Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw.

And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.

And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,

because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him.

And when he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and did homage to Him.

For He said to him, Come out of the man, unclean spirit.

He also begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country.

So all the demons begged Him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.

And those who fed the swine fled, and they told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that had happened.

And those who saw it told them how it happened to him who had been demon- possessed, and about the swine.

And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him.

And in the synagogue there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon. And he cried out with a loud voice,

But Jesus rebuked him, saying, Be quiet, and come out of him! And when the demon had thrown him into their midst, it came out of him and did not hurt him.

And when He stepped out onto the land, there met Him a certain man from the city who had demons for a long time. And he wore no clothes, nor did he live in a house but among the tombs.

For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had often seized him, and he was kept under guard, bound with chains and shackles; and he broke the bonds and was driven by the demons into the wilderness.

And they begged Him that He would not command them to go out into the abyss.

Then the demons went out of the man and entered the swine, and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the lake and drowned.

Then they went out to see what had happened, and came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.

Then the whole multitude of the surrounding region of the Gadarenes asked Him to depart from them, for they were seized with great fear. And He got into the boat and returned.

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is lunatic and suffers miserably; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water.

saying, Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, being terribly tormented.

Then Jesus said to the centurion, Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you. And his servant was healed that same hour.

And behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, Son, be of good courage; your sins are forgiven you.

But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, Why do you think evil in your hearts?

But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins; then He said to the paralytic, Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.

And when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.
