And all the people saw the thunders, the lightning flashes, the sound of the shofar, and the smoking mountain; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood at a distance.

And you came near and stood at the foot of the mountain, and the mountain burned with fire to the midst of the heavens, with darkness, cloud, and thick darkness.

And Jehovah spoke to you out of the midst of the fire. You heard the sound of the words, but saw no form; you only heard a voice.

These words Jehovah has spoken to all your assembly, on the mountain from the midst of the fire, the cloud, and the thick darkness, with a loud voice; and He has added no more. And He wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.

And he said: Jehovah has come from Sinai, and dawned on them from Seir; He has shone forth from Mount Paran, and He has come with ten thousands of saints; from His right hand a fiery Law for them.

the mountains flowed before Jehovah, this Sinai, before Jehovah the God of Israel.

O God, when You went out before Your people, when You marched through the wilderness; Selah:

The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God; Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

He looks upon the earth, and it trembles; He touches the hills, and they smoke.

Bow down Your heavens, O Jehovah, and come down; touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.

And the Angel of Jehovah appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. And he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed.

The appearance of the glory of Jehovah was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain before the eyes of the children of Israel.

And when Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from the heavens and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of Jehovah filled the house.

When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of Jehovah upon the house, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and prostrated themselves and gave thanks unto Jehovah, saying: For He is good, for His mercy is eternal.

in flaming fire giving full vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with intense burning; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

And it came to pass, when the sun had gone down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between those pieces.

And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain; and he saw, and behold, the smoke of the land went up like the smoke of a furnace.

Bow down Your heavens, O Jehovah, and come down; touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.

And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels would be completed.

And He said, Go out, and stand on the mountain before Jehovah. And behold, Jehovah passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before Jehovah, but Jehovah was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but Jehovah was not in the earthquake;

and after the earthquake a fire, but Jehovah was not in the fire; and after the fire a whisper of a small voice.

The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God; Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

The voice of Your thunder was in the whirlwind; the lightnings lit up the world; the earth trembled and shook.

Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,

I looked on the mountains, and, lo, they quaked; and all the hills moved to and fro.

The mountains quake before Him, and the hills melt; and the earth is lifted up before Him, even the world and all who dwell in it.

Who can stand before His indignation? And who can endure His burning anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken down because of Him.

And you shall flee to the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah. And Jehovah my God shall come, and all the saints with You.

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also the heavens.
