But as for me, I will come into Your house in the abundance of Your mercy; I will bow down in Your fear toward Your holy temple.

As for me, I will behold Your face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with the image of You.

My steps have been upheld in Your paths, so that my footsteps have not slipped.

For I said, Hear me, lest they rejoice over me; lest, when my foot slips, they magnify themselves against me.

If I had said, My foot slips, Your mercy, O Jehovah, holds me up.

A lamp is despised in the thoughts of one who is at ease; it is made ready for those whose feet slip.
