But You, O Jehovah, are a shield for me; my glory, the One who lifts up my head.

i1 [To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David, the servant of Jehovah, who spoke unto Jehovah the words of this song in the day that Jehovah delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. And he said,] i0 par I love You, O Jehovah, my strength.

Jehovah is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my Mighty God, my rock wall, in whom I will trust; He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

For Jehovah God is a sun and shield; Jehovah will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk in integrity.

For Jehovah is our shield, and our King, the Holy One of Israel.

After these things the Word of Jehovah came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.

His seed shall be mighty on the earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

Do good, O Jehovah, unto those who are good, and unto those who are upright in their hearts.

if you were pure and upright, surely now He would awake for you, and would have restored your righteous abode.

For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.

Those who are of a perverse heart are an abomination to Jehovah, but the perfect in their way are His delight.

Whoever walks in integrity shall be delivered; but he who is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.
