i1 [A Song of Ascents.] i0 par I lift up my eyes from hill to hill. From where does my help come?

My help comes from Jehovah, who made the heavens and the earth.

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes wait upon Jehovah our God, until He shall have mercy upon us.

But my eyes are upon You, O Lord Jehovah; in You I have taken refuge; do not leave my soul destitute.

Bring me out of the net that they have hid for me, for You are my strength.

Our soul has escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped.

Our help is in the name of Jehovah, who made the heavens and the earth.

For among My people are found wicked ones; they lie in wait, as one who sets snares; they set a trap, they catch men.

in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance unto a full true knowledge of the truth,

and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
