My voice shall You hear in the morning, O Jehovah; in the morning I will direct my prayer unto You, and I will look up.

For You go before him with the blessings of goodness; You set a crown of pure gold upon his head.

Jehovah will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me, my prayer to the Mighty God of my life.

But unto You I have cried out, O Jehovah, and in the morning my prayer comes before You.

My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning; yea, more than those who watch for the morning.

With my soul I have desired You in the night; yea, with my spirit within me I will seek You early; for when Your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

And in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there prayed.

Those who fear You will be glad when they see me, because I have hoped in Your Word.

KAPH: My soul is spent for Your salvation; I hope in Your Word.

In God (I praise His Word), in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do to me.

I have waited for Jehovah, my soul has waited, and in His Word I have hoped.

Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, pledged it by an oath,

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters in within the veil,
