And the Angel of Jehovah said unto her: Behold, you are with child, and you shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, because Jehovah has heard your affliction.

And Jehovah said: I have given attention to see the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I have acknowledged their pain.

If you afflict them to humiliate them, and they make an outcry to cry out unto Me, I will hear and give heed to their cry;

For that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin. What will he sleep in? And it will be that when he cries out to Me, I will give heed, for I am gracious.

So Jehoahaz entreated Jehovah, and Jehovah gave heed to his face; for He saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them.

But Jehovah was gracious to them, had compassion on them, and regarded them, because of His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not yet destroy them or cast them from His presence.

and call on Me in the day of trouble; and I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.

To You who hears prayer, all flesh comes.

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.

Then Jesus called His disciples to Himself and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now continued with Me three days and have nothing to eat. And I do not want to send them away hungry, that they not faint on the way.

The burden against the Valley of Vision. What ails you now, that you have gone up to the housetops?

After these things the Word of Jehovah came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.

And He said, I am the Mighty God, the God of your fathers. Do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there.

And Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid. Take your stand, and see the salvation of Jehovah, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall not see again forever.

They wandered in the wilderness in a desolate way; they found no city to dwell in.

Then they cried out unto Jehovah in their adversity, and He rescued them out of their distresses.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will make you strong; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.

For I, Jehovah your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, Fear not; I will help you.

Fear not, you worm of Jacob and men of Israel; I will help you, says Jehovah and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

But now thus says Jehovah who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel; Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; nor shall the flame consume you.

As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, Do not be afraid; only believe.
