And Jehovah appeared to Abram and said, To your seed I will give this land. And there he built an altar unto Jehovah, who appeared to him.

for all the land which you see I give to you and your seed in perpetuity.

Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.

And He said unto him, I am Jehovah, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it.

And He said unto him, Take for Me a three year old heifer, a three year old female goat, a three year old ram, a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

And when the birds of prey came down upon the carcasses, Abram drove them away.

And He said to Abram: Consider to know that your seed shall be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years.

And as for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried at a good old age.

And it came to pass, when the sun had gone down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between those pieces.

the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites,

the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.

the covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac,

saying: To you will I give the land of Canaan as the allotment of your inheritance;

I am a foreigner and a sojourner among you. Give me property for a burial place among you, that I may bury my dead from before my face.

and give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and your seed with you, that you may inherit the land in which you are a sojourner, which God has given to Abraham.

and said to me, Behold, I will make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will make of you a multitude of people, and give this land to your seed after you as an enduring possession.

then his master shall bring him to God. He shall also bring him to the door, or to the doorpost, and his master shall pierce his ear with an awl; and he shall serve him always.

Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.

It is a perpetual sign between Me and the children of Israel; for in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.

You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, and they shall serve Me as priests; for their anointing shall be a perpetual priesthood throughout their generations.

This shall be a perpetual statute for you, to make atonement for the children of Israel, for all their sins, once a year. And he did as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

and it shall be to him and his seed after him a covenant of a perpetual priesthood, because he was zealous for his God, and made atonement for the children of Israel.

When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the sons of Israel.

Although my house is not so with the Mighty God, yet He has made with me a perpetual covenant, ordered in all things and secure. For all my salvation and all my desire, will He not make it grow?

But the mercy of Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting upon those who fear Him, and His righteousness unto children's children,

And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

I will take you to Myself as a people, and I will be God to you. And you shall know that I am Jehovah your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.

And because He has loved your fathers, therefore He chose their seed after them and brought you out of Egypt before Him with His mighty power,

For you are a holy people unto Jehovah your God, and Jehovah has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.

And today Jehovah has declared you to be His treasured people, as He has promised you; for you to keep all His commandments,

to establish you today as a people for Himself, to be, Himself, your God, just as He has spoken to you, and as He has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
