But God shall deliver my soul from the power of Hades, when He shall receive me. Pause.

For Your mercy is great toward me; and You have delivered my soul from the depths of hell.

The pangs of death compassed me; the dangers of hell found me; I found affliction and sorrow.

And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham from afar, and Lazarus in his bosom.

"O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?"

I am He who lives, and became dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Death and of Hades.

And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to their works.

But you denied the Holy and Just One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,

"For truly they were assembled against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel,

Then You spoke in a vision to Your children, and said, I have laid help on a mighty one; I have exalted one chosen out of My people.

saying, "Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are--the Holy One of God!"

And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy Baby which is to be born shall be called the Son of God.

saying, "Ah! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are--the Holy [One] of God!"

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.

"And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says the Holy [One], the True [One], " He who has the key of David, He that opens and no man shuts, except He that opens, and no man shall open."

foreseeing [this], he spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, "that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption."

For those dwelling in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they did not know Him, nor the voices of the Prophets which are being read according to each Sabbath, condemning [him], they fulfilled [the Scriptures].

And when they finished all the things having been written about Him, taking Him down from the tree, they put [Him] in a tomb.

who appeared for [many] days more to those going up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are His witnesses to the people.

that God has fulfilled this promise for us to their children, when He raised up Jesus, as it is also written in the second Psalm: 'You are My Son, today I have begotten You.'

"Therefore also in another [Psalm] He says, 'You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption.'

but He whom God raised up did not see corruption.

For I know that He is eternal who is about to deliver me,

which I am conscious of in myself, which my eye has seen, and not another, but all have been fulfilled to me in my bosom.

[ 2:7] to the clefts of the mountains; I went down into the earth, whose bars are the everlasting barriers: yet, O Lord my God, let my ruined life be restored.

Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of the [one] having died, said to Him, "Lord, already there is a stench, for he has been dead four days."

in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
