But You, O Lord God, are compassionate and merciful, longsuffering, and abundant in mercy and true.

The Lord is compassionate, and merciful; long suffering, and abundant in mercy.

And having stood still, Jesus called them, and said, "What do you desire [that] I should do for you?"

And Jesus, having compassion, touched their eyes, and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.

And having stopped, Jesus commanded him to be brought to Him. And when he drew near, He asked him,

Therefore He was obligated to become like His brothers in all [respects], in order that He might become a merciful and faithful High Priest in things [pertaining] to God, in order that He might make propitiation for the sins of the people.

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but having been tempted in all [respects] in quite the same way as [we are], yet without sin.

And when she had said these things, she went out and secretly called Mary her sister, saying, "The Teacher is here and is calling for you."
