And so encourage one another and help one another, just as you are now doing.

We urge you, our friends, to warn the idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

"Comfort my people," says our God. "Comfort them!

Encourage the people of Jerusalem. Tell them they have suffered long enough and their sins are now forgiven. I have punished them in full for all their sins."

When these things begin to happen, stand up and raise your heads, because your salvation is near."

Lift up your tired hands, then, and strengthen your trembling knees!

Let us be concerned for one another, to help one another to show love and to do good.

Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another all the more, since you see that the Day of the Lord is coming nearer.
