Now, concerning what you wrote about unmarried people: I do not have a command from the Lord, but I give my opinion as one who by the Lord's mercy is worthy of trust.

I am not laying down any rules. But by showing how eager others are to help, I am trying to find out how real your own love is.

Of course what I am saying now is not what the Lord would have me say; in this matter of boasting I am really talking like a fool.
