The soil itself makes the plants grow and bear fruit; first the tender stalk appears, then the head, and finally the head full of grain.

Do your planting in the morning and in the evening, too. You never know whether it will all grow well or whether one planting will do better than the other.

For the saying is true, 'Someone plants, someone else reaps.'

I planted the seed, Apollos watered the plant, but it was God who made the plant grow.

There is no difference between the one who plants and the one who waters; God will reward each one according to the work each has done.
