He took her by the hand and said to her, "Talitha, koum," which means, "Little girl, I tell you to get up!"

Peter reached over and helped her get up. Then he called all the believers, including the widows, and presented her alive to them.

They had followed Jesus while he was in Galilee and had helped him. Many other women who had come to Jerusalem with him were there also.

Praise the LORD, my soul! All my being, praise his holy name!

He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.

What can I offer the LORD for all his goodness to me?

There were many women there, looking on from a distance, who had followed Jesus from Galilee and helped him.

and so did some women who had been healed of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (who was called Magdalene), from whom seven demons had been driven out;

Joanna, whose husband Chuza was an officer in Herod's court; and Susanna, and many other women who used their own resources to help Jesus and his disciples.
