Jesus answered, "Have you never read what David did that time when he and his men were hungry?

So the disciples went and did what Jesus had told them to do:

Jesus said to them, "Haven't you ever read what the Scriptures say? 'The stone which the builders rejected as worthless turned out to be the most important of all. This was done by the Lord; what a wonderful sight it is!'

Now, as for the dead rising to life: haven't you ever read what God has told you? He said,

Surely you have read this scripture? 'The stone which the builders rejected as worthless turned out to be the most important of all.

Now, as for the dead being raised: haven't you ever read in the Book of Moses the passage about the burning bush? There it is written that God said to Moses, 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.'

Jesus answered them, "Haven't you read what David did when he and his men were hungry?

Jesus answered him, "What do the Scriptures say? How do you interpret them?"

So God created human beings, making them to be like himself. He created them male and female,

He created them male and female, blessed them, and named them "Human Beings.")

Didn't God make you one body and spirit with her? What was his purpose in this? It was that you should have children who are truly God's people. So make sure that none of you breaks his promise to his wife.
