A woman who had suffered from severe bleeding for twelve years came up behind Jesus and touched the edge of his cloak.

She said to herself, "If only I touch his cloak, I will get well."

He had healed many people, and all the sick kept pushing their way to him in order to touch him.

All the people tried to touch him, for power was going out from him and healing them all.

God was performing unusual miracles through Paul.

Even handkerchiefs and aprons he had used were taken to the sick, and their diseases were driven away, and the evil spirits would go out of them.

They do everything so that people will see them. Look at the straps with scripture verses on them which they wear on their foreheads and arms, and notice how large they are! Notice also how long are the tassels on their cloaks!

All around its lower hem put pomegranates of blue, purple, and red wool, alternating with gold bells.

Aaron is to wear this robe when he serves as priest. When he comes into my presence in the Holy Place or when he leaves it, the sound of the bells will be heard, and he will not be killed.

The tassels will serve as reminders, and each time you see them you will remember all my commands and obey them; then you will not turn away from me and follow your own wishes and desires.

If a boy is circumcised on the Sabbath so that Moses' Law is not broken, why are you angry with me because I made a man completely well on the Sabbath?

It was the power of his name that gave strength to this lame man. What you see and know was done by faith in his name; it was faith in Jesus that has made him well, as you can all see.

if we are being questioned today about the good deed done to the lame man and how he was healed,

then you should all know, and all the people of Israel should know, that this man stands here before you completely well through the power of the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth---whom you crucified and whom God raised from death.

But there was nothing that they could say, because they saw the man who had been healed standing there with Peter and John.

"What shall we do with these men?" they asked. "Everyone in Jerusalem knows that this extraordinary miracle has been performed by them, and we cannot deny it.
