"Take the stick that is in front of the Covenant Box, and then you and Aaron assemble the whole community. There in front of them all speak to that rock over there, and water will gush out of it. In this way you will bring water out of the rock for the people, for them and their animals to drink."

From there they went on to a place called Wells, where the LORD said to Moses, "Bring the people together, and I will give them water."

So David assembled the people of Israel from all over the country, from the Egyptian border in the south to Hamath Pass in the north, in order to bring the Covenant Box from Kiriath Jearim to Jerusalem.

So David summoned all the people of Israel to Jerusalem in order to bring the Covenant Box to the place he had prepared for it.

Then King Solomon summoned all the leaders of the tribes and clans of Israel to assemble in Jerusalem, in order to take the LORD's Covenant Box from Zion, David's City, to the Temple.

King Solomon and all the people of Israel assembled in front of the Covenant Box and sacrificed a large number of sheep and cattle---too many to count.

A great number of people gathered in Jerusalem in the second month to celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread.

So everyone was happy---the people of Judah, the priests, the Levites, the people who had come from the north, and the foreigners who had settled permanently in Israel and Judah.

By the seventh month the people of Israel were all settled in their towns. On the first day of that month they all assembled in Jerusalem, in the square just inside the Water Gate. They asked Ezra, the priest and scholar of the Law which the LORD had given Israel through Moses, to get the book of the Law.

In the full assembly I will praise you for what you have done; in the presence of those who worship you I will offer the sacrifices I promised.

When the day of Pentecost came, all the believers were gathered together in one place.
