Elijah was afraid and fled for his life; he took his servant and went to Beersheba in Judah. Leaving the servant there,

There he went into a cave to spend the night. Suddenly the LORD spoke to him, "Elijah, what are you doing here?"

I answered, "I'm not the kind of person that runs and hides. Do you think I would try to save my life by hiding in the Temple? I won't do it."

When they persecute you in one town, run away to another one. I assure you that you will not finish your work in all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

This book is the account of what was said by Jeremiah son of Hilkiah, one of the priests of the town of Anathoth in the territory of Benjamin.

From the territory of Benjamin they were given four cities: Gibeon, Geba,

Anathoth, and Almon, with their pasture lands.

In the territory of Benjamin they were assigned the following towns with their pasture lands: Geba, Alemeth, and Anathoth. This made a total of thirteen towns for all their families to live in.
