The LORD says, "Here is my servant, whom I strengthen--- the one I have chosen, with whom I am pleased. I have filled him with my Spirit, and he will bring justice to every nation.

They are the people I made for myself, and they will sing my praises!"

Shout for joy, you heavens! Shout, deep places of the earth! Shout for joy, mountains, and every tree of the forest! The LORD has shown his greatness by saving his people Israel.

The LORD says, "My servant will succeed in his task; he will be highly honored.

The LORD says, "It was my will that he should suffer; his death was a sacrifice to bring forgiveness. And so he will see his descendants; he will live a long life, and through him my purpose will succeed.

Listen then, Joshua, you who are the High Priest; and listen, you fellow priests of his, you that are the sign of a good future: I will reveal my servant, who is called The Branch!

While he was talking, a shining cloud came over them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my own dear Son, with whom I am pleased---listen to him!"

but the angel said to them, "Don't be afraid! I am here with good news for you, which will bring great joy to all the people.

And this is what will prove it to you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."

"Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom he is pleased!"

Father, bring glory to your name!" Then a voice spoke from heaven, "I have brought glory to it, and I will do so again."

After Judas had left, Jesus said, "Now the Son of Man's glory is revealed; now God's glory is revealed through him.

And if God's glory is revealed through him, then God will reveal the glory of the Son of Man in himself, and he will do so at once.

My Father's glory is shown by your bearing much fruit; and in this way you become my disciples.

After Jesus finished saying this, he looked up to heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come. Give glory to your Son, so that the Son may give glory to you.

I have shown your glory on earth; I have finished the work you gave me to do.

Let us praise God for his glorious grace, for the free gift he gave us in his dear Son!

He always had the nature of God, but he did not think that by force he should try to remain equal with God.

He was humble and walked the path of obedience all the way to death--- his death on the cross.

And so, in honor of the name of Jesus all beings in heaven, on earth, and in the world below will fall on their knees,

But you are the chosen race, the King's priests, the holy nation, God's own people, chosen to proclaim the wonderful acts of God, who called you out of darkness into his own marvelous light.
