From the beginning I predicted the outcome; long ago I foretold what would happen. I said that my plans would never fail, that I would do everything I intended to do.

I am calling a man to come from the east; he will swoop down like a hawk and accomplish what I have planned. I have spoken, and it will be done.

"My word is like the snow and the rain that come down from the sky to water the earth. They make the crops grow and provide seed for planting and food to eat.

Remember that as long as heaven and earth last, not the least point nor the smallest detail of the Law will be done away with---not until the end of all things.

We know that what the scripture says is true forever; and God called those people gods, the people to whom his message was given.

The crowd answered, "Our Law tells us that the Messiah will live forever. How, then, can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?"

Do the Jews then have any advantage over the Gentiles? Or is there any value in being circumcised?

But what if some of them were not faithful? Does this mean that God will not be faithful?

but the word of the Lord remains forever." This word is the Good News that was proclaimed to you.
