I will repeat aloud all the laws you have given.

We will not keep them from our children; we will tell the next generation about the LORD's power and his great deeds and the wonderful things he has done.

Teach them to your children. Repeat them when you are at home and when you are away, when you are resting and when you are working.

You snakes---how can you say good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

A good person brings good things out of a treasure of good things; a bad person brings bad things out of a treasure of bad things.

Do not use harmful words, but only helpful words, the kind that build up and provide what is needed, so that what you say will do good to those who hear you.

Your speech should always be pleasant and interesting, and you should know how to give the right answer to everyone.

Your commandments are all trustworthy; people persecute me with lies---help me!

The rules that you have given are completely fair and right.

Your righteousness will last forever, and your law is always true.

So then, the Law itself is holy, and the commandment is holy, right, and good.

We know that the Law is spiritual; but I am a mortal, sold as a slave to sin.
