The two kings, dressed in their royal robes, were sitting on their thrones at the threshing place just outside the gate of Samaria, and all the prophets were prophesying in front of them.

All the other prophets said the same thing. "March against Ramoth and you will win," they said. "The LORD will give you victory."

What did you go out to see? A man dressed up in fancy clothes? People who dress like that live in palaces!

Do not listen to the prophets who tell you not to surrender to him. They are deceiving you.

Then I told the priests and the people that the LORD had said: "Do not listen to the prophets who say that the Temple treasures will soon be brought back from Babylonia. They are lying to you.
