With them went every kind of animal, domestic and wild, large and small, and every kind of bird.

A male and a female of each kind of living being went into the boat with Noah,

He blessed them all and told the creatures that live in the water to reproduce and to fill the sea, and he told the birds to increase in number.

God blessed Noah and his sons and said, "Have many children, so that your descendants will live all over the earth.

"You must have many children, so that your descendants will live all over the earth."

He blessed his people, and they had many children; he kept their herds of cattle from decreasing.

May our barns be filled with crops of every kind. May the sheep in our fields bear young by the tens of thousands.

May our cattle reproduce plentifully without miscarriage or loss. May there be no cries of distress in our streets.

"I, the LORD, say that the time is coming when I will fill the land of Israel and Judah with people and animals.

And just as I took care to uproot, to pull down, to overthrow, to destroy, and to demolish them, so I will take care to plant them and to build them up.
